The radiographic film cutting machine includes two cutting plates (2, 3) along which two rolls of film (4, 5) are unwound. Supported over the two films is a cutting head mounted on a vertical axis (20). A cutting ring (19) surrounds the axis concentrically, and overlies a part of each of the two films. A rotating cutting blade (22) turns about the axis, moving along the inner edge of the cutting ring, so as to remove circle segments from one side of each film at intervals. The film is subsequently cut into short pieces (P) suitable for mammography or other special medical applications.
