Day and month display for wrist-watches - replaces day display in existing movement and can be manually corrected by existing rapid reset knob

The manually correctable day and month display is for wrist watches. The month display is obtained by replacing the day display disc in suitable watch movements by a month disc and by inhibiting the day mechanism such that it can be manually corrected by the existing rapid reset knob. The existing date mechanism in the movement is left untouched, the day wheel having an added wheel with 12 or a multiple of 12 teeth. The existing sprung lever shoulder normally engaging with the day wheel and acting with the usual sprung date is suppressed.
