Glass fibre reinforced polypropylene compsn. - contg. bis-maleimide and thiuram di:sulphide or mercapto-thiazole

Polypropylene compsn. contg. glass fibres and a bis-maleimide also contains an S cpd. of formula (I) or (II): where x is 1,2 or 4; R1-4 are 1-4C alkyl; R1 and R2 and R3 and R4 can together form a divalent gp. of formula -(CH2)-n where nis 5 or 6; one or two of R1, R2, R3 or R4 can also be a phenyl; R is H, -NR'R" where R' may be H; R' and R" can both be 1-8C alkyl, cyclohexyl and R' and R" can also form with the N atom a gp. of formula (III). The compsn. has improved flexural strength modulus of elasticity and cold impact strength. It may be used for prodn. of automobile parts e.g. radiators, battery casing, ventilators, etc.
