Sequential control system for air filtration unit - uses pulse generator and multi-stage register with initialisation circuit

The control system uses a recurrent pulse generator with circuit for regulating the duration of the supplied pulses and the duration of the interval between the pulses. The latter are supplied to a register with an initialisation circuit for setting an initial logic state at the beginning at the start of the pulse sequence. Each output of the register is coupled to a respective gate also receiving pulses from the pulse generator and a respective switching device is coupled to the output of each gate. Pref. these switching control respective valves for a number of compressed air lines leading to the filtration unit.
