Tray to locate pharmaceutical ampoules in package - holds two superimposed layers of ampoules not touching each other

The tray is of the type having two vertical, parallel side walls along each side of flat, horizontal base. The neck of an ampoule is gripped in a slot in the inner face of each side wall. Each slot now has two neck-gripping apertures, one above the other, the slot narrowing between the two apertures. The apertures are disposed so that all ampoules are supported without touching each other or touching the tray base. The tray is esp. of cardboard. The tray can hold two superimposed layers in a package. Two trays were previously required.
