The node-buckle(1) may be utilised in bed mfr. to stabilise the nodes of parallel metal or fabric straps(2, 3) disposed in a rectangular grid or similar, and having a regular polygonal shape with an even number of sides. In the fabrication of mattress support panels, the clip prevents slip and creasing at nodes. Once installed one of the crossing straps(2) passes through an eyelet formed by tucking the counter strap(3) through the buckle (1), with the outgoing adjacent strap legs passing over the buckle on opposite sides. The buckle may be a square ring with a gap(1c) in one side, the gap being nominally greater than strap thickness to assist assembly. In addn. a square elastic pad may be incorporated between the strap overlap a defined by the buckle.
