A skateboard ski device has a skateboard platform and skate trucks combined with removable ski shoes, each ski shoe having flat body on its lower surface with parallel runners. On its upper surface support ribs either receive wheels of an existing skateboard or the axles of the wheel truck assembly. The forward end of the ski shoe is upwardly turned to allow the device to slide over the snow. A ski shoe can have both ends upturned so that the skateboard ski can be used in either a backward or forward direction.
