Device for humidity detection and control for a washing drum-drier combines two methods of detection: measurement of the electrical resistance of the washing (which is much higher when the washing is dry) and measurement of the temperature of the air leaving the drum (which, again, is much higher when the air is dry). The detection signals offered by the two parts of the detection circuit are delivered to the same input of an electronic interruption device, which controls the stoppage or continuation of the drying process as a function of the signals received from the circuit.
