The central heating system can be used with any medium, and comprises a set of radiators which are supplied upstream of a network of pipes clad with a single concrete slab, or a set of removable ones. The heaters can be equipped with manually or thermostatically controlled taps, and can be positioned in series with each other or parallel. A by-pass (8) can be provided to prevent flow of the heating medium into the network when its temperature is higher than the rated level.
