The machine comprises a stand forming a bed for a conveyor. The conveyor is made from stainless steel cables which pass over rollers, and are enclosed by a casing which has inlet and outlet slots for the cards. A first space within the housing contains a nozzle which sprays a flat triangular curtain of cut flower preserver in liquid form. The cards pass through this curtain and are impregnated with the liquid. The cards then pass into a drying tunnel (5), heated by a bank of elements and are discharged onto a stack for later cutting into individual dose units.
