The tower-reflector is used to maximise solar power through a two-stage concn. method. A carrier section can be erected on the profile structure. The galvanised profile-structure consists of a material having a high thermal conductivity. On the rear side is fastened a closed-off galvanised covering, acting as cooling channels. The covering is galvanically reinforced so as to fasten the carrier element. The profile structure of the reflector surface is fully galvanised as are the cooling channels. The reflector surface is raised up on a welded tubular structure. A thermal transport medium is conducted through the channels for active cooling. The thermal transport medium is used to produce the energy output.
