The invention relates to a curable urethane adhesive composition. /P P The composition according to the invention consists essentially of a solution in a suitable solvent of a ricinoleate prepolymer with terminal isocyanate groups having an available NCO content, excluding the solvent, and based on 100 % solids, at least 2% by weight, and b a chlorinated rubber containing about 63 to 68% by weight of chlorine, the chlorinated rubber being present in an amount of not more than about 70% by weight of the rubber mixture chlorinated and said prepolymer.
