The articulated puppet is made in flat material and has limbs attached to the body. These are hinged, allowing their orientation in two different planes, perpendicular to each other. The hinge is made up of two identical parts (1a, 1b) which are held together by an axle (8) which is threaded at one end and held by a butterfly nut. Each part is half the width of the limbs (4, 6) and has a cut out in which the limb fits. The extremity of one part (1a) is fitted to a plate (5), fitted to the limb (4) by a bolt and butterfly nut. The puppet may be used by artists, to define a pose.
