The wall (1) carries internal fixed frame (2) which support a frame (4) of interior glazing (6). A sound insulation panel (10) rests on the window sill and has a front air opening (11) and rear exit (12), the latter being placed facing orifices (13) in the fixed frame so as to provide through ventilation, while the top of the panel is removable and has dressed capping resting upon it. A stop bar keeps the insulation panel in place so that it can support an aluminium profile (17) which supports the fixed frame, and a second frame. The latter frame supports the exterior glazing.
