The vehicle mounted hopper tips by gravity. There is a body (1) moving on an almost horizontal slideway in both directions. There are hooks below the hopper near the centre to hold the hopper near its point of balance. To assist movement, the hopper is supported on four rollers (5). Some rollers are under the hopper and run on rails (4). Others (7) are fixed to the support and press on rails (6) under the hopper. A hook (8) is circular shaped and its hole is cut by the rail track. This enables the hook to take up the roller along an arc of a circle.
