The mobile irrigator machine has a wheeled chassis with a supply union at one end connected to a stationary water point via a pipe lifted from the ground. Near this mechanism is a pipe-section delivery conveyor, in line with which is a guide for the pipe-section allowing its end to travel in it as the machine moves. A tank open at the top receives the water flowing out of the pipe-section end. The water is pumped under pressure to the sprinklers, whatever the pipe end position. A further conveyor fits an additional pipe section in or removes it from the one in the guide. A motor (480) aids movement of the pipe section as it travels towards the outside of the machine.
