The craft is made from flexible plastics material which is buoyant. The craft is elongated and has a flat deck with underwater fins. The central lower part of the float carries an arm (4) connected to a horizontal flipper (5) joined to the cross bar (6). The craft is propelled by the user standing on the deck and rocking the craft backwards and forwards by pulling on the painter (7). This causes the fin (5) to propel the craft forward. The craft may also be fitted with a rudder.
