METHOD AND DEVICE FOR ENLARGING VISUAL FIELD OF REARVIEW MIRROR OF AUTOTRUCK

PURPOSE:To enlarge a field of rear view, by providing an auxiliary rearview mirror for the enlargement of the visual field in addition to a main rearview mirror mounted on the upper section of the outside of the cab of an autotruck on the front of its body and by moving the relative position of the auxiliary rearview mirror. CONSTITUTION:A support shaft 3 is provided on the tip of a fitting arm 2 protruded from the upper section of the outside of the cab 1 of an autotruck on the front of its body. The upper edge 5 of a main rearview mirror 4 is mounted on the support shaft 3. The upper corner edge 7 of an auxiliary rearvew mirror 6 is rotatably mounted on the support shaft 3 by the main rearview mirror 4. The auxiliary mirror 6 is overlapped with or separated from the main rearview mirror 4 by swinging the auxiliary rearview mirror 6. A field of rear view is enlarged by separating the auxiliary rearview mirror 6 from the main rearview mirror 4.
