PURPOSE:To facilitate operation, to simplify a mechanism and heighten safety, by using a connection mechanism to interlock lockup members for locking up a front, a rear, a right and a left hinge shafts. CONSTITUTION:To swing the bed of a dump truck backward, front and rear right and left lockup members 18, 19 are located in right and left outer positions through a connection mechanism 24 by placing a lever 26 in a rear position. As a result, the hinge shafts 11L, 11R of the bed are locked up by the engaging holes 23L, 23R of rear right and left lockup members 19R, 19L and hinge shafts 7L, 7R are released from the engaging holes 22R, 22L front right and left lockup members 18R, 18L. The bed is swung backward by expanding a hydraulic cylinder. To swing the bed rightward, the lockup members 18, 19 are located in intermediate positions by placing the lever 26 in a neutral position. As a result, the shafts 7R, 11R are locked up by the engaging holes 22R, 23R and the other shafts 7L, 11L are released from the engaging holes 22L, 23L so that the bed is swung rightward by a hydraulic cylinder. To swing the bed leftward, the lever 26 is likewise placed in a front position.
