CHANGEEOVER SYSTEM FOR PASSING BAND WIDTH OF DIGITAL FINITE IMPULSE RESPONSE LOWWPASS FILTER

PURPOSE:To manage with the small capacity of a coefficient memory by storing the coefficient memory with only impulse response when a passing band is minimized and then by leading it out by sampling. CONSTITUTION:Coefficient memory 1 stores the impulse response of a filter and sampler 2 takes the value in memory 1 by sampling. Then, the output of this sampler 2 and an input signal are supplied to convoluting unit 3 for convoluting calculation. In this case, passing band widths are changed by changing sampling intervals of sampler 2 to take an output signal out of convoluting unit 3. Thus, a small coefficient memory can be used.
