PREVENTION METHOD FOR COLLISION OF CARGO TRANSPORTING DOLLIES IN TUNNEL STORAGE SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To prevent collision of dollies with each other, by a method wherein, an underground in storage system, when a cargo transporting truck is about to enter a tunnel, the presence of a preceding truck is detected with a voltage applied to a conductor mounted in the tunnel. CONSTITUTION:While a truck exists in a tunnel after it transfers to a tunnel from a crane, a voltage Pi is applied through the collector shoe 27 of the truck to a conductor 25 installed along the tunnel. When another truck starts to move toward the tunnel from the crane, a stop command or a command for restoration to the crane after stopping is sent to the truck from a restoring travel command circuit R.C.C.1 on the condition that the voltage Pi is applied to the conductor 25. As a result, only the first truck can enter the same tunnel. Thus, collision of the trucks and breakdown thereof can be prevented.
