摘要

PURPOSE:To reduce the vibration propagated through a web by providing hollow holes for separation in the web of an H-beam steel sheet pile for constituting an underground structure. CONSTITUTION:In the web 2 of the H-beam steel sheet pile 11 are formed many honeycomblike hollon holes 10, thereby split sheet piles 4 and 4' being constituted. Between crest parts of both ends of the webs 2 of the split sheet piles 4 and 4' are placed intermediary spacers 5 made of steel or the like, which are connected with webs by welding or the like, and thus apertures (d) are formed between the intermediate crest parts of sheet piles 4 and 4'. Many H-beam steel sheet piles 11 thus constituted are diven in the ground sequentially through the intermediary of joints, thereby an underground structure for reducing propagation of ground vibration being constituted. By this, the vibration propagated from the ground 6A on the side of a vibration-generation source to the ground 6B on the side of a building through the webs 2 can be considerably reduced.
