FOUNDATION PILE WITH ENLARGED BOTTOM BY SPLITTING AT UNDERGROUND

摘要

PURPOSE:To increase the settling resistane of a structure by enlarging the bottom of a foundation pile by splitting the tip portion of the foundation pile under the ground by an iron hammer. CONSTITUTION:A tip body 3 is driven underground by a pipe 1, whereby the convexity 4 of the upper part of the body 3 is fitted into the pipe 1, where the body 3 does not split during the process that it goes forward from an iron bar buried in V-shaped form into the lower part 7 of the body 3. After the body 3 reaches a predetermined position, the pipe 1 is slightly drawn up and then an iron hammer 5 is dropped, whereupon the splitting weak portion 8 of the tip body 3 is split and opened into a state, as shown by broken line, at the iron bar buried in V-shaped form under the ground. Then, the pipe 1 and the iron hammer 5 are drawn up and then concrete is poured into the hole formed at the tip body 6 opening at the bottom of the hole to construct a foundation pipe with enlarged bottom.
