摘要

PURPOSE:To protect a gold leaf-clad surface by preventing discoloration and rust with an ''invisible'' film, by a method wherein a liquid consisting of vinyl acetate as main component and ethyl acetate as a solvent is sprayed on the gold leaf-clad surface at an ordinary temperature to form an extreamly thin transparent film. CONSTITUTION:A liquid consisting of vinyl acetate as main component and ethyl acetate as a solvent is sprayed on a gold leaf-clad surface (in which the gold leaf is clad by conventional procedure) at an ordinary temp. by aerosol system to form an extreamly thin transparent film in a short time without changing the color and the gloss of the gold leaf.
