PURPOSE:To prevent a rotor from being bent due to heat by mounting a regulating piece at the heat bending section in the rotor of a steam turbine and providing a counterweight at the axially symmetrical position of the regulating piece. CONSTITUTION:A regulating pipe 6 whose thermal expansion coefficient is different from that of a rotor material is mounted at the bending section of a rotor 1 in which bending occurs following the high ambient temperature. The axal working force F of the rotor 1 bends the rotor 1 in the reverse phase with the thermal bending of the rotor 1 and corrects the thermal bending of the rotor 1. A counterweight 10 is provided in the axially symmetrical position with the regulating pieces 6 and the unbalance of the rotor 1 is cancelled by the regulating piece 6. This can prevent the thermal bending of the rotor which follows the steam temperature and stabilize the rotor vibrationally.
