MEASURING METHOD FOR LOAD OF HIGH TEMPERATURE AND HIGH PRESSURE FATIGUE TESTER

PURPOSE:To increase the degree of accuracy of measuring the load of the high temperature and high pressure fatigue tester by forming a vibration machine into a tandem type and making the pressure in a tandem chamber communicate with the pressure in an autoclave. CONSTITUTION:The tandem chamber 7 of the vibration machine 1 formed into the tandem type is connected with a bellows air chamber 22 in the autoclave 9. Thus, the vibration machine 1 introduces a pressure source P according to a driving signal S and causes a piston rod 3 to produce a vibration load of a given weight, which is applied to a sample 13 through a load detector 15 and a piston rod 14. When the displacement and temperature of the sample 13 to which a given weight is repeatedly applied are measured by means of a displacement gauge 31 and a temperature detector 19, the vibration machine 1 receives the internal pressure of the autoclave 9 and the internal pressure of the tandem chamber 7 equal to it in the different directions. This permits the load detector 15 to be independent of the internal pressure of the autoclave 9. Thus, the desired purpose is attained.
