SHEET COVERING DEVICE FOR ENTIRELY COVERING TYPE DUMP TRUCK AND STANDARD TRUCK

PURPOSE:To facilitate the sheet covering or sheet removing work and to prevent the sheet from flapping up by wind pressure by making an arm rotate around an intermediate point between a cab protecter and a side board. CONSTITUTION:A pair of arms 2 and 4 extending from a fulcrum 1 inside a truck bed are made to rotate by a machanism mounted outside of the cab protecter 9. As a result, the sheet 8 drops outside of a vehicle body by an associated operation of the frame 5 and a stay 11. In this instance, as the fulcrum 1 of the arm 2 is positioned much higher than the top of the side board, the rotation of the arms and sheet is never interfered by the load on the bed. Also, the sheet is never flapped by the wind pressure while the vehicle is running.
