CONSTRUCTION METHOD OF HARBOR BANK SURFACE RECLAMATION

PURPOSE:To prevent the run-off and dispersion of soil, sand and dust and also to prevent pollution of the peripheral water area by a method wherein a pollution run-off dispersion prevention film is constructed in the outer water area of a dam by means of a float. CONSTITUTION:A dam 3 is constructed at a border area of the projected area of reclamation S and a sheet pile 4 is hammered in the intermediate area of this dam 3 and in the outer water area of the dam 3, a pollution run-off dispersion prevention film 6 is constructed by means of a float 5. And thereafter, soil and sand are cast in the reclamation projected area S to construct a new surface 2. In order to construct a dam 3, public works material of big grain such as rock pieces is cast into there to form a trapezoidal shape in which both sides have a proper inclination. A film 6 has a upper and lower breadth which is enough to reach from the water surface to the water bottom when the tide is at high level and further, it is structured with a material of nonpermeability or a material having a comparatively small coefficient of permeability.
