The element (S) consists of a hub (3) with a number of groove rings (2) assembled axially. On the circumference of the groove the hair-pin-shaped steel bristles are fitted with the bent parts in the groove and with their two open ends pointing radially outwards. The bent parts are attached to the groove base by binding wires. The ends of the binding wires are pushed through protrusion provided on the base of the groove and turned back to form a hook. The other end of the binding wire is still loose for threading-on the bristles. After completed threading of the bristles, the two ends are twisted together to achieve a taut fitting of the wire on the groove base.
