A process of preparation of an improved cement concrete comprising the steps of mixing cement, fine aggregate and coarse aggregate together, characterized by admixing therewith a solution of gelatine in water and casting the same, the concentration of the said solution being predetermined so as to obtain the desired compressive and tensile strengths of the resulting cement concrete.
