Topical medicament for treating open wounds - comprising powdered Calypso plant and mineral

Prodn. of a topical medicament for treatment of open wounds (esp. bed-sores) is carried out by mixing a powder produced by drying and grinding whole calypso plants with a powdered mineral (specifically "scheeba" or "schaeba"). The mineral is stated to contain a considerable amt. of N, together with Al, K, phosphate and Na. The ratio of plant powder to mineral powder is pref. 2:1, or 4:3 in the case of large open wounds.
