The vessel is equipped with ringing, and its sail layout comprises a boom foresail (1) on an aerodynamic mast (2) with forward (3) and stern (4) stays. A trapeze device is incorporated, with the aid of which the crew in a to go about manoeuvre between mast and rear stay can go to the other side of the vessel without uncoupling the trapeze or having to let go the rope. The rope arrangement is such that only one rope behind the mast comes out of a block (5), so that the foresail can be used over both tacks. The automatic blocking unit installed is so arranged that navigating with the mast inclined windwards, it blocks midships when the mast moves from this position to leewards.
