The saddle comprises a carrier (1) for the seating surface (2) and a fixture (3) which has an opening to receive the saddle supporting tube (4) of the bicycle frame and is connected to the carrier via a spring (11). The connection comprises a parallelogram linkage having two parallel members (5,6) pivoted to the fixture (at 8,10) and to the carrier (at 7,9) respectively. The spring is fixed (24,25; 26,27) between these members and one pivot point (9) is adjustably (18) secured to the carrier. The lower fixing point of the spring may be adjustable along the member (6). The spring may be a solid or hollow rubber block.
