Compounds of the formula IMAGE wherein ONE OF R and R' is alkyl of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, THE OTHER OF R and R' is beta -haloethyl or beta -hydroxyethyl, and X is a pharmacologically acceptable anion, preferably halogen; THE COMPOUNDS AS WELL AS THE SALTS ARE USEFUL AS SPASMOLYTICS, BRONCHOSPASMOLYTICS AND INHIBITORS OF EXCESSIVE STOMACH JUICE SECRETION.
