摘要
An electronic computer has facility for programme storage and a keyboard for data input. The main feature of the system is the ease with which a complex programme may be compile from a series of fundamental operations stored as micro-programmes in a ROM. Keyboard codes allow micro-programme steps to be entered. The system consists of a keyboard input and a printer output controlled by an input/output unit. Micro-programmes are stored in a read-only-memory, with up to three more ROM's available, to supply instructions for the operation of the central processor. A random access memory is used to store address instructions, that are entered through the keyboard, to provide access to the ROM.
