Liquid, homogeneous, stable household cleanser consists, by wt., of (A). 2-15% mixt. of (a) an anionic, organic, synthetic sulphonate of formula R1SO3M (where R1 is 10-20C alkyl and M is Na-, K-, NH4- or ethanol-ammonium cation) and (b) an anionic, organic, synthetic sulphate of formula R2SO4M (where R2 is opt. unsatd., opt. branched aliphatic 8-18C hydrocarbyl) and wt. ratio (a) : (b) is 3 : 2 to 10 : 1; (b) 3-7.5% water-soluble organic or inorganic builder salt or their mixtures; (c) 0.3-3% foam inhibitor system contg. a fatty acid ester of formula R3COOR4 (where R3 is 11-17C alkyl and R4 is 2-4C alkyl) and a Na-, K- or NH4 soap of a 12-18C fatty acid, where ester/soap wt. ratio is 1 : 1 to 1 : 20, and (d) water. Wt. ratio (a) : (b) is 5 : 1 to 1 : 2. Esp. used for cleaning hard surfaces, partic. shiny, glass or metal surfaces. Compsns. remove inorganic and fatty dirt and can be used without further rinsing or rubbing.
