ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSUREA recording apparatus and method is disclosed whichincludes a writing fluid source feeding drop projection meanswhich asynchronously ejects a series of droplets of writingfluid from an integrally constructed, multiple nozzleprinting head in a discontinuous stream with sufficientvelocity to traverse a substantially straight trajectoryto a recording medium. The volume and velocity of each dropletis individually controlled by electrical pulses applied to theprojection means from an electronic driver. The projectionmeans may be employed and connected to an electronic, alpha-numerical character generator to form predetermined graphicalintelligence patterns on the recording medium.
