Bale support members areprovided at the pivotal end of the frame and support devicesare provided on the frame to support the end of the balesremote from the bale support members. Pick up devices areprovided at one side of the chassis and are adapted toengage bales on the ground and lift them onto the supportframe, such that their longitudinal central axis is parallelto the longitudinal axis of the transport unit.I
