ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSUREA method for producing fractions of paraffin hydro- :carbons of the C4-C7 isostructure, residing in hydroiso-merization of a gasoline fraction in the presence of hydro-gen on a catalyst at a temperature of 320-400°C, under apressure of 20 to 60 atm., a space rate of feeding the gaso-line fraction of 1.0 - 1.5 hour-1; used as a gasoline frac-tion being a straight run gasoline fraction boiling outwithin a temperature range of 85-160°C or 160-195°C, ora gasoline fraction of the coking process, boiling out with-in a temperature range of 35-85°C or 43-170°C; the abovecatalyst comprising amorphous nickelalumosilicate andzeolite of the NaY type in the NiCaHY form, in a weightratio of 60-90:40-10, respectively, the chemical composi-tion of the catalyst being as follows (wt.%) : Ni, 7-10;A12O3, 5-6; SiO2, 86-80; Ca, 1-2; H, 1-2. The target pro-duct obtained has a high octane number, up to 89-90 accord-ing to the motor method in a pure form. The method is car-ried out under relatively mild conditions. It allows utili-zation of available, easily accessible low-octane gasolinefractions.
