ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTIONFertilizers coated with coating layer having acontrolled moisture permeability and a controlledtemperature dependency of moisture permeability arepresented by the production method which comprisesejecting hot drying air to the spout of granular fertilizerand spraying a hot solution of polyolefin type resin,ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer or vinylidene typeresin upon said fertilizer granules and drying saidfertilizer granules upon being sprayed with solutionhaving the property capable of forming a solution whileit is hot but turning into jelly-like gel when it iscooled hut as a most characteristic feature of this methoduniformly dispersed fine powder is incorporated in saiddrying air or in said solution so as to have a coatedlayer of said resin containing uniformely distributedfine powder.
