3-Carbamoyl-4-hydroxy-cumarines, process for their preparation and their use as pesticides

Novel 3-carbamoyl-4-hydroxycoumarins of the formula I IMAGE in which X, R1, R2 and n have the meaning indicated in the description. They are obtained when 4-hydroxycoumarins are reacted with isocyanates in the presence of a diluent and in the presence of a base. The novel 3-carbamoyl-4-hydroxycoumarins of the formula (I) have potent pesticidal properties, in particular insecticidal properties.
