The clamping device, movably connected to two side frame pieces, is activated to move these further apart or closer together, in a shuttering frame for making cutouts for doorways or window openings in concrete walls, or similar. The device (13) is made up from two triangular frames (31,32), connected to each other by a length-adjustable clamping element (37), and to the side frame pieces (11,12) by media (42) engaging angled guideways (38,39) which are inclined opposite ways. These can be slots in the frame pieces, while the clamping device has holes (41,40) and the connecting media are bolts. This is stable and retains its exact shape, even under heavy concrete pressure.
