Flexible vacuum cleaner tube is pref. of high-pressure polyethylene, and has a corrugated wall as seen in axial section, with a profile comprising outward-directed high, narrow curves and ribs. The inner wall near the ribs runs cylindrically. The curves are higher than the ribs, and the wall is thicker at their apices. The ribes pref. have a rectangular or square cross section.
