Storage of preliminary message in peripheral station - has message in register rotated depending on correct address

The peripheral station is in a remote control system and receives all messages but holds only that message which includes its address. The device employs a clocked FIFO register which is long enough to hold two complete messages all of which have a fixed number of bits. When receiving a preliminary message not destined for this station this message is shifted into the second half of the register and the wanted message is rotated to the first half. - Every message received (E) is tested (P2) for its address and stored via an OR-gate (0) in the first section of a register (S), the previous message being shifted to the second half. An 01D gate (U1) is disabled if a control circuit (P1) recognises a preliminary message. Rotation of a message in the register (S) is effected via a second AND-gate (U2) when it is enabled by the output of a control circuit (P2).
