The system measures the braking moment, the wheel speed and the wheel load. These quantities are converted by a first control circuit into a figure for the friction after slip and into the time derivative of this figure. A second control circuit determines the instantaneous speed of the vehicle. A third control circuit processes thefirsttputs from the two circuits to obtain a control signal for reducing the braking pressure by comparing the time derivative of the friction figure with a reference. The reference is equal to the friction figure multiplied by a constant coefficient. (DS).
