Installation for treating actinide/aluminium alloys or cermets contg. Al comprises a receptacle for alkaline attack on the Al inclusions and alkali sol. fission prods. a filtering vessel connected to and following the attack receptacle for sepg. the materials dissolved by the alkali from the undissolved sludge, with a detachable filter pot for the sludge and a receptacle for the dissolved materials which can be connected to it, a dissolution vessel which can be connected to the filter pot and in which an acid soln. dissolves materials from the sludge in the filter pot, and a prod. receptacle into which dissolved materials from the dissolution vessel are transferred.
