Addition cpds. are obtained by reacting cpds. of formula (I), (II) and (III) (wherein (I) R is 3C unsatd. hydrocarbon gp. or 1-10C alkyl; in (II) R is 3C unsatd. hydrocarbon gp. or H, R1 is 1-6C linear, branched or cyclic alkyl, phenyl, benzyl, vinyl or H and R2 is 1-4C alkyl, phenyl, benzyl or H; in (III) R is H, phenyl, tolyl, benzyl, chlorohexyl or 1-8C alkyl, R1 is H or 1-4C alkyl and n is 1 or 2) and mono- or dialkylureas, mono- or dialkylthioureas or then methylolated etherified derivs. pref. with 1-4C alcohols, with organosilicon cpds. contg. Si-H bonds, the Si/H ratio being 6:16:1. The reaction is opt. effected in the presence of aminoplasts and at least part of the H atoms of (I), (II), (III) and of the mono- or diallyl ureas or thioureas being in the methylolated form, pref. in the etherified form with lower alcohols. Products are useful for treatment of fibrous materials to impart water-repellent properties and soft feel.
