Tool carrier for drill spindle - uses eccentric bolt located transverse of holder to clamp tool carrier and holder together

The drilling head with a tool holder has a tool carrier which can be clamped against the holder, the clamping being achieved by turning an eccentric bolt located crossways in the tool holder. The bolt eccentric supports against a yoke movable axially in the holder. A yoke extension connects the yoke and the tool holdeR, and has an open recess with an opening formed by two projections. The tool carrier has an extension which inserts in the recess and in a blind hole in the tool holder which takes the yoke. The extension has a radially thickened part for engagement between the nose projections. The eccentric is held on the yoke by an adjustment screw.
