The swing door or gate is for barriers in passageways, esp. in self-service stores. It has a floor-anchored tubular post and panic safety mechanism, and a locking mechanism released by an electrical contact. The locking mechanism can move along a swivel axis and is connected to the panic safety mechanism by a bolt. Its housing contains a bolt movable along its longitudinal axis, and there is a magnet between this and a locking piece to lock or release the bolt. The bolt notches into one of two grooves inside the swivel tube, which also has two stops to limit the opening angle of the door.
