The earthing assembly has a telescopic aem and allows one man to earth overhead power lines. The telescopic arm and its raising mechanism are mounted on a chassis with two wheels. The chassis has a socket (9) parallel to the arm and through which an anchorage rod (8) passes into a hole in the ground. The anchorage rod holds the assembly upright and is connected (11, 12) at its upper end to the telescopic arm (1).
